*Indian Wells is around the corner and i cant wait! I'm really excited cause i really love the late tennis nights...or early tennis mornings. Either way works lol.

*Andy has a new blog out, so if you missed it go check it out! He will face Daniel Koellerer in his first match at Indian Wells.

*Congrats to Roger Federer. He will become a daddy this summer. How cuuuute is that?

And to change subject..i'm boooored. I'm at work, the weather sucks. Yeah it really sucks...its sunny, cold and its raining. Go figure.
I tried to make some icons...i think i'm not into it atm. I have a million pictures from all the tournaments, but i cant seem to make icons...boooooooooooo. I hope i can find my lost inspiration again lol

I dont know why but am always excited this time of the year ...yeah yeah this time too :P
Team USA is playing vs Switzerland for this first round. Sad this is that James lost his first match, which was a 4 setter but Andy *wooooot* won.
The twins are playing right now and they are 3-3, so i hope they win this one today.

And cause am a lazy person and i havent posted in ages...congrats to Andy for his Memphis title last week.

Okkkkk am off to go watch some double.
Bahhhhhhh bye

I can't even say how happy i am!! Andy is in the semis of the Aussie open. WTG. Now some of you, will say...yeah but Novad retired...and i will say give me a break! I don't doubt he was looking very bad, but in my book, he should of wait and end the match. You know...what goes around comes around...isn't that kinda funny the way it happened? Andy made fun of him cause of all his medical breaks and retirments...and tadam...the day Andy plays great and kicks his butt, he does both lol. And as [info]asweetescape said...If you look up the word "quitter" in the dictionary, you'll see Novak Djokovic's picture.

.........!!!!!!!!!!!! Murray is ouuuuut! *grins*
Well that was kinda unexpected...everyone was saying how great Murray is, and how Rafa and Federer should be afraid of him yada yaaaada yada.
Thumbs up for Fernando Verdasco, who did the unecpected. The Spanish guys, seem to be in a great form so far and thats a great thing.
Rafa also won his macth against Gonzo.
Next match i cant wait to see is Andy's. Goooooooooo Roddick.

SUPPOSEDLY if you've seen over 85 of these films, you have no life. There are 239 films on this list.

Mark the ones you've seen. Copy this list.

Then, bold the films you've seen and count the number.

Put your number at the top of the post.

Have fun! :)

Well well well, first regular post for 2009 and lets start with some tennis...i really can't wait for the Aussie Open next week. The new season already started and we gonna see some changes in the ATP schedule this year. I just hope it works out well for all of us (including the players ofcourse).
Anyways i'm really really happy Andy is in the finals of the Qatar Open. He beat Monfils, or however you spell that in the semis, who just one day earlier had dropped Rafa (boooo!)In the finals Andy will meet either Roger or Murray...at this point i think i want him to face Roger lol.
Speaking of Federer, earlier today, i was looking for something online when i took a look at the rankings...O M F G i just now realized that Federer is only 20 pts ahead of Djokovic *faints*. I mean i knew it was bad, i just never realized it i guess. I know you never thought i would say that but pooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooor Roger. I dont want him to be No3...i mean come ONNNNN we talking about THE Roger...lol Ok well i guess we have to wait and see how the Aussie goes hm?
However lets move on, to something non tennis related. Its something more of a meme, many people do it all over the inet, from flickr to facebook to many many fashion blogs. Sooooo the question is... whats in your bag/purse? You just dump everything you have in there and then you take a pic. Thats all :)

Hello all.
I wont say how sorry I am that I haven’t post anything, all these months. I will only say that life has been really hectic. I had good moments and bad moments but is all good now.
I don’t even know where to start. A bunch of stuff have happened, these last months. First, I got my degree in sports journalism and radio broadcasting a couple months ago, and I work at a newspaper which I reaaaally really love.
Second, I moved at my very own place. The place is amazing and I also love it (lol). I will post some pics sometime this week.
And to move to the bad side of things, I had some serious internet/puter problems and on top of that add some even more serious health problems and there you have it.
However, I think I will have lots of time now that I’m all set with the house, and work and everything.
I have missed talking about tennis and Andy with you all, but I remember you everyday when I turn my laptop on and first thing I see is an amazing wallpaper Tara made a long long time ago.
I hope you all doing well guys and I would love to hear what’s new for you all.
Kisses

....again.
How many times have i said that? Its a bit of an old story, so i refuse to say Andy will win or anything. All i say anymore when its Andy vs Roger, is "we will wait and see". But the sure thing is that Andy never gives up.

If there is one special thing that fans should admire about Andy Roddick it’s that he doesn’t give up

I read that at the official miami site and it was soooooo true! So considering that....we will wait and see ;)

Heyyyyyyyyyyyy! Guess whos back :D
Yeah thats me lol. Well good thing is am not dead hm? I had the worst and i mean the worst period of my life! I was always on the run, with no inet etc etc. I really have missed you all here! *hugs* I will post details and stuff in the next days.

I wont post much today....well not much but maaaan big news. I have to say that when i got that text message from my friend Claire my jaw dropped. "I wont have inet for a few days cause i will be on vaca. Will you please let me know if Andy got engaged?"....Well i think you all know what my reaction was....."WHAT??????" hehehe.
Then i went to ar.com...nothing, logged in club roddick and yes, there it was..."...the rumors are true..."

Actually i'm happy for him and its sooooo sweet. Its cool when you kinda "know" someone for yeaaars and you see how his life goes. Do i make sense here? lol Nope i guess not hehe. Soooorry, am in a crazy mood, i have a funny head and am tired.
Anyways, i'm really glad, i'm back, i still have to put my sh*t together tho, make some icons and stuff...and change my layout too. Have any suggestions? :)

Well bye bye for now. I will see you soon...honestly *grins*

Yes... one more last time for this year. Andy vs Roger, for their last round robin match at the Masters Cup.
I really dont have feeling for that game. Andy is already in the semis, so it doesnt matter much. I just really hope, Andy is thinking the same way, and that he will be realxed, calm and focused. Roger on the other hand, am sure he still tries to get over his last bad matches and am even more sure that he will be agressive cause he needs to be in the semis veeery bad...and i dont blame him lol. Ofcourse the whole story depends on Gonzo's match...he will play in a little while.
Sooooo i keep my fingers and toes crossed for Andy...!

Today i'm soooo bored. Actually not exactly bored, but i'm in that crappy mood...you know, when the weather is changing and its getting cold and rainy and you need to wear 29873 cloths. Yep, that mood! lol
I have like one million things that i need to get done and it seems that i cant put myself together to do even one of them. Imagine that instead of doing something usufull yesterday, i was fulling around all day with my boyfriend in yahoo messenger. I know i know, theres nothing bad in fulling around with your bf but come on...yahoo messenger?? Like we live too far away lol.
I'm thinking on changing my layout again, but i dunno what to do. I wanted to make a new header, but my mind is sooo empty, i'm not even sure if i remember how to use photoshop hahaha. Yes yes i knowwwww...i suck :P
Anyway the other day i said, that i was gonna upload some Ty Herndone pics...so here you go. From his interview at Love Radio 97.5, from the soundcheck and from the consert.

I havent update my journal for ages lol. No i didnt abandoned it, i was busy. Not busy busy but i was away from home for a few weeks and i didnt have inet connection. So thats the reason why i never even said a word aboout the Us Open, which btw i didnt manage to watch... most of it anyway. The only match i watched was Andy vs Federer and i must say that i am a very proud fan. I was sad with his loss but sooo proud. Roger didnt kick his butt like most of the times, and Andy played prolly the most amazing and solid match of the year. However, Us open is over and Roger was the winner again...but nope that's not a big surprise lol.
This week was Davis Cup weekend. I was so anxious to see how team USA would do. Sooooooooooo they are in the finals vs Russia!!!! First time since 2004 (vs Spain)....ages ago, not to mention when was the last time they brought it on. In my opinion their chances are pretty good this year, they play great as a team and they have a major advantage...they will play at HOME! James need to be more confident tho!!! Sooooo we'll see how it goes *crosses fingers*.
Besides tennis what else?? Well i worked for the 5th Country Music Festival in Athens and we had Ty Herndon this year. The concert was awesome!!!! I was soooo amazed by him and he is such a great guy!!! I will post pics and videos sometime this week.
I'm thinking what else to write....................but my mind seems empty lately lol Soooooo i will leave you all alone and i will go watch LOST, we have marathon today. They play lost since 12.30!!! And hell yeah i loooooooooooooooooove that. Sawyer overdose! lol
Sooooooooooooooo you will hear from me soon....not in two months hehe i promise heehhehe.

Hello hello hello!! How you all doing???? Long time no see huh? But now I’m officialy back!!! Yep…seriously I’m back! Lol. I was away for a few weeks and I really missed you guys.
I had a great time tho and great great fun. I also have a wonderful tan!!! I was at the beach almost every day for a few hours. I was hanging out with friends and my cousins etc etc etc. All I can say is that the summer of 2007 was one of the best summers ever.
I missed the summer tennis season tho. Well most of it anyways. Andy didn’t do very well and after a couple of years he is not the winner of the Us Open series. He might won his second title of the year at Dc, but he played kinda crappy in Cincy so he didn’t manage to defend his title there.
Rafa proved for one more time that he has issues with the Us hardcourts and Roger Federer lost in the final of Rogers Cup against Djokovic. Poor Roggy. Godddddddd I really miss thennis. Us open is almost here….only a few days left *thanks God* and I can’t wait!!!!!!!!!!!:D
Well I’m off now, I have to read aaaaaaaaaaall the emails I have at my inbox and you can bet it will take me a while….!
See you xoxoxox

First of all i would like to say happy 4th of July to everyone who's from the states :D Happy independence day guys!!

Second of all? Wimbledon update ofcourse! God that is the worst Wimbledon i remember!!! It rains rains rains rains rains...aaaaaaaaall the time. Ok we always have that in mind when it comes to Wimby but come on, not like 5 days in a row. I haven't seen more water during a tennis tournament hehe.
That must be frustrating for the players...i know it's for me. Imagine that Rafas match ended today after what?? 4 days? Yep yep that's a good record...
Thing is that they must be there, they go out to play (the schedule is not much of a schedule anymore) they warm up and everything, after a while they umpire says play...they play for a good 10 minutes and then nothing, nada, caput...next day if they are lucky. The worse is when they go in and out every 5 minutes, like yesterday. I saw Mauresmo walking in the court more than 8 times lol

Well the good thing is that Andy is trough and Rafa is through too. I have to admit that for a moment i thought that Rafa was going to lose! He was thaaaat close. Pheeeew. Andy on the other hand was ready to lost the 3rd set, but he woke up, when it was 5 - 3 down. Then something happened on that tiebreaker and he was down 5 - 0 but but but he worked his magic again lol

The other top story of Wimby is Roger Federer!!!!!
[info]stillshecries <------>They might as well just hand Roger the trophy!
I know right! I mean can anyone ask for more? No offense to the Roger fans out there, but man he is lucky! I don't how else to call him. He has played only 2 games instead of 4, he is resting aaaaaaall these days. If i was Roger i wouldn't like to win a tounry like that. Not that it's his fault, but it's just the way it is. (do i make any sense here? lol)

First of all i would like to welcome a new friend, [info]anny_roddick. I think her name says it all right?? lol It's always great to have people on you flist that have the same interests as you.
wow its been forer since my last post. Even though it's summer, life sucks and things are really hectic. Especially the last couple of weeks. Same old story...my parents are out of town and i have to keep the family store eeeeeeeeeeeeeeevery day. So there's no much time for fun. And the most frustrating thing is that i won't be able to watch most of the matches. Boooooooooooooo!
I'm also a bit sad. I have a friend from Ahens who is in the army, and they sent him here for a few months. We had so much fun together, we were going out every day and stuff like that...but now it 's time for him to go back home...and boy i'm gonna miss him :((((
So these were my news lol interesting huh?
Anyways...before i forget that...congrats to Rafa for winning his 3rd Roland Garros title (3 in a row). I'm so so so proud of him!! He proved again why he called the one and only king of clay!!

And ofcourse congrats to Andy Roddick for his 4th Stella Artois title at Queen's. He had a perfect tournament this week and his game was class! He wasn't nervous, rushed, unpatient, and he was consintrate eevery single moment. He faced match point in the final against Mahut but but but he was really focused...so at the end he won!

Well done...now bring the Wimby ON!!!! Woot! The draw is kinda crappy....but oh well it's a Grand Slam no?? lol

Oh oh oh i forgot...[info]tennis_icontest is back in action for the summer!! and i also made a mega TENNIS post @[info]smoggyday. :PPP

Roland Garros is definitely the Grand Slam of surprises.Thing is that you can never predict the result...especially in the French Open. In these two past weeks many many many things happened.

*All the americans of the mens draw, lost in the first round. 9 guys...yeah 9...Andy Roddick and James Blake were two of them. That was their worst performance of the last 30 years.

*Some guys including Federer and Djokovic had a very easy draw. The first player that Djokovic face and was in the top100 was Verdasco. He had problems with a french guy, earlier though.

*The crowd has a new...um...non favorite player?? Yeah yeah you can say that. Maria Sharapova! She was serving against Schnider. Schnider raised her hand and said she wasn't ready. Sharapova just hit an ace and she walked to the other side of the base line. That's what we call fair play huh????

*Robredo is the first guy that won a set against Federer in a Grand Slam this year. It wasn't just a set...it was 6-1 set.

*Rafa has the perfect 13-0 in Roland Garros matches. Awesome, no? lol

*Carlos Moya is in great shape, he is 30 years old and he plays like a 20 years old boy again! Vamos Charlie woo hoo lol

*The spaniards did really well this year. 3 of them made it to the quarters. Nadal, Moya and Robredo. Robredo lost to Federer.

*Nadal vs Moya...right about NOW. VAMOSSSSSS Rafa!!!!

And because i found that really funny...

I'm officially back and 10 closer to crazy lol
Oh man that was really a hell of a week. The weather was a bit of a problem, but oh well as you see i'm still alive!!
First of all i have to say that the Athens Champions Cup was very very cool. Pete Sampras and Jim Coorier are great guys.

I attended most of the matches of the tournament but the best was the final. Actually it was about to rained out, but they stopped for a couple of hours and then everything was almost normal lol. The funny part was after the delay, i was (a lot of people were, including the athletes) at the press tent, and we were all watching the Hamburg final. I need to say that i was speechless for hours...honestly, but i won't start talking about that, cause it will take me ages hahahaha.
Pete Sampras was the winner of the tournament, but that wasn't a big surprise.

Anyways, the next 3 days went by reaaaaaaaaally slow. You know when you wait for something, the time stops somehow, and as i said before the weather didn't help much.
Everything in Athens was crazy though. Football fans all over the place, events, happenings, parties, football stars!! It was unreal.
The day of the Champions League Final, i was so pumped up, it was the second huge event after the Olympics. My friend Johnny picked me up and we went together at the Olympic Stadium. Thank god we're both journalists and we didn't have to wait for long, in order to "check in".
Man i will never forget that day....EVER!!
I remember we were walking around almost one hour before the beginning and we saw Paolo Maldini sitting somewhere. Needless to say that i almost passed out before i smile and wish him luck!! Oh he is so so so so gorgeous. And Kaka too. He is like 45876542354 times cutter and hotter in person.

When we went out there, i got goosebumps. 20000+ Liverpool fans, were singing "You'll never walk alone", while the Italians singing their song. And the the match started!!! It was kinda "boring" in the beginning...till the first goal hahaha.
The second half was fast...really fast!
I will never forget Filippo Inzaghi, running, screaming and jumping, proud for his second goal. I will never forget the sound of the final whistle..and the bunch of boys i saw out there in the field!

And then it was the trophy time...! Ohh boy the stadium was shaking hahaha. Seriously.

Tennis might be my fave sport in the world, but football will also have a place in my heart.
Ok enough. I will shut my mouth now. I will talk tennis tomorrow though, cause Roland Garros is just one breath away. HA you thought you could get rid of me? Ha ha ha :PP
